International Production Coordinator

Play Sports Network is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator for our international channels to join our growing team based in Bath.

At Play Sports Network we create over 30 videos every week for the world’s largest YouTube channels in cycling. We have ambitious plans for international expansion, and the International Production Coordinator role is a key part of this.

We currently have content creation teams based in Spain, Italy and Japan with further global expansion happening soon. To support this growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable Production Coordinator with a can-do attitude.

You’ll work from our office in Bath where you’ll focus on the coordination of our international channels. You will be responsible for ensuring that all content is delivered on time, you’ll support the development and implementation of key projects and processes, and take responsibility for the organisational and logistical aspects of all production on our growing portfolio of non-English language channels.

The position will require work on location in the UK and overseas, sometimes at short notice. All communication is in English, but the ideal candidate will speak a major European and/or Asian language in addition to English either natively or fluently and idiomatically.  You may be required to work flexible working hours due to time zone differences.


  • Costing and booking shoots, equipment, staff and travel for PSN international channels
  • Hiring crew and contractors
  • Booking all required sets and props for international channels
  • Liaising with Business Development and Content teams to draw up video release schedule
  • Liaising with international presenters and video creators to draw up the production schedule
  • Ensuring all content is delivered in line with our schedule and brief
  • Arranging permits and risk assessments
  • Identifying gaps in our international production processes and suggesting fixes

  • A clear communicator who is able to translate a brief and creative vision to actions and knows how to communicate with all levels of our team
  • Good knowledge and understanding of technical processes involved in video production, including camera, lighting, sound and editing
  • Know how to ensure that all necessary licences and clearances have been obtained for a video production
  • Understanding and diplomatic communicator and ability to represent PSN to members of the public on shoots
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of relevant union and/or broadcaster regulations and agreements, e.g. Pact/Equity, Pact/Musicians Union, Pact/BECTU
  • Know how to access information about, and comply with, corresponding regulations and agreements in other countries
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changes in organisational priorities

Experience in online video is desirable, a full driving licence and the ability to work in the UK and EU is required. You’ll also need a passion for bikes, be it road or mountain; it’s important to us and our viewers, so be prepared to join the rest of the team on rides during the year!
